I hope you have a great time in your own garden. Nothing like playing in the dirt, with the chickens by your side. Love it as much as crafting.
Take care and I hope you still have time for your blog too.
XO AprilNanasniftynitchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11068198986514065055noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15646653.post-54105783654572616242015-06-21T21:59:53.020+01:002015-06-21T21:59:53.020+01:00Looking forward to the garden photos---I've en...Looking forward to the garden photos---I've enjoyed your allotment blog over the years. I do sympathize re the crime - we had a yard sale and got car license plates stolen which was rather unpleasant. I have a small vegetable garden at home, I'm sure you will enjoy this new stage of your life -- please keep the blog going!!! I think I discovered your blog shortly after you got your first flock of chickens. I am glad Mr. L has made a complete recovery and I wish you and your family all the best in the future. But I will miss your blog. I hope you will update occasionally about your backyard garden. I'm going to try to find the right fit for my own gardening (+ life demands). You, your chickens and gardening where a an inspiration to me 10 years ago. Now to start the next 10 for both of us!Petunia's Gardenerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02294826235747207917noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15646653.post-13634089388272150832015-04-30T09:26:25.860+01:002015-04-30T09:26:25.860+01:00I suppose all good things must come to an end? Then there are the raised beds, got the sleepers and again need help to get them in position.Gone are the days when something that took me 2 hours, now it's like days spread over weeks.
I hope all your cuttings take. I took some cuttings from my 3 blackcurrant bushes last Autumn, when I pruned them. 12 cuttings and now 7 plants. It was easy, had a fruit box lined with plastic with holes in for drainage, a mix of garden soil, grit and spent compost, no rooting powder.
I think you will be able to grow just what you need at home in your garden. xxxSandies' Patchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11022362234675324965noreply@blogger.com
